Cloth very light…ly marked; an excellent copy without a dustwrapper (presumably one was issued). Limited to 3000 copies; this copy has the 1945 ownership signature of Charles P. Mountford, the noted Australian anthropologist. Loosely inserted is a newspaper clipping recording the 100th birthday of Mountford's wife Bessie in November 1990 (she accompanied Mountford on his 1948 Arnhem Land expedition and others).
