He left no signs of of his ownership but they are distinguished by their excellent bright condition in a genre that often shows up rather wornÉhe was known to constantly upgrade his collection. Notes: Publisher's catalogue follows text. Presumed first edition. Neat name on first blank page, dated 1909 and slight foxing in the preliminaries, otherwise very good indeed.
