Leask , a WW1 Ace who started in the Royal Flying Corps (RFC), flew over 100 sorties, was shot down three times, and became a Flight Commander in No. 84 Squadron, earning the Military Cross (MC), and the remained in the RA…F, rising to Air Vice-Marshal and serving as Director General of the Air Ministry during WWII. After the war he was stationed in Turkey during the Chanak Crisis, and then India - continually rising in the ranks. The large group photo measures 7 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches, and the others are correspondingly smaller. All this R.A.F. material is RARE.
