This is Peter Steinhauer's second publication on Vietnam, containing exquisite photographs representing four different dimensions of Vietnam: The Mekong Delta; Canals of Saigon; Ethnic Minorities of Vietnam; and Hanoi: Streets, Roofs, and Houses. Steinhauer began compiling these bodies of work starting in 1996, while working on his first book, Vietnam: Portraits and Landscapes. Steinhauer's fascination of Vietnam began when he heard about the country from his father after he returned from serving in the war as a surgeon in 1966-67. He first arrived in the country in 1993 and continued to dedicate his life ever since to live, work, and photograph the amazing beauty of the country and people. No other photographers has created projects with the breath and depth of work that spans more than two and a half decades as Steinhauer. EB; 13.7 X 11.1 X 0.9 inches; 136 pages.
