Hardcover. Condition: new. Hardcover. A Star So Far from Heaven: A Personal Journey in Search of Love and Self-WorthIn this beautifully honest and intimate memoir, Evelyn Goldfinch invites readers into a life marked by longing, laughter, faith, and transformation. A Star So Far from Heaven is more than a collection of memories; it is a tender unraveling of heartache, discovery, and the soul's persistent desire to be seen, heard, and valued.Told through letters, vivid recollections, and spiritual reflections, Evelyn's story traces her path through the shadows of doubt and disconnection toward a deeper sense of self and divine belonging. With poetic insight and dark humor, she captures the essence of love in its many forms: familial, romantic, sacred-and explores the deep questions that shape our journeys: Who am I? Where do I belong? And what does it mean to be truly loved? Each chapter is a window into the quiet courage of one woman choosing to confront the weight of the past while daring to believe she was made for more.Raw, lyrical, and deeply human, A Star So Far from Heaven is for anyone navigating their own valleys and searching the skies for their place among the stars.
