Op papier met gedrukt briefhoofd van de Stichting Nationaal Glasmuseum, gedateerd '5 Aug 1963'. Hij dankt 'Zeer geachte Heer Elias' hartelijk voor zijn spontane reactie en zendt hem een 'juist door ons uitgegeven boekje'. 'Het was een aardige gewaarwording zelf eens aan de "andere kant" te kunnen kijken'. Karel Wasch was langdurig directiesecretaris van de Glasfabriek Leerdam, en directeur van het Glasmuseum aldaar. Hij publiceerde tussen 1915 en 1940 poëzie en proza, vaak in de vorm van dialogen, maar ook romans zoals De Salon-Salomé waarmee hij zich in de Nederlandse decadentie plaatste. Eduard Elias (1900-1967) was columnist voor onder andere Elsevier en Het Vaderland.…
