The dust jacket is about 99% intact with some chipping on the top and bottom of the spine, light soiling and there is a five inch closed tear and a one inch closed tear on the top of the back. I have placed the DJ in a fresh mylar jacket and this old book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!

The introduction states that this book is addition to a manual the authors have already published and the purpose is ".to give you a little idea of the value to you of Japanese flower arrangement in rousing your interest in flowers of your own garden and country." ~ Condition. The book is in Very Good condition. The covers are lightly soiled and have occasional stains. The front end page is toned. One collotype plate has a section where matter adheres. Internally clean and free from stains, markings or tairs.
