Library bookplate, pages trimmed and one section loose, but a good strong serviceable reading copy. A collection of songs originally issued by the Newcastle-on-Tyne Typographical Society, at first issued separately and afterwards collectively in several editions. The original manuscripts, related correspondence and corrected proofs were puchased by Crawhall and collated into this single volume. An advert for the large paper edition is printed opposite the title-page which often leads to people confusing this, the standard edition, as being the large paper. The spine of the book carries the title Newcastle Fishers' Garlands. . …
