The front cover showcases Mark Fisher and His Orchestra, one of the many regional dance orchestras that helped popularize new popular songs through ballroom performances and radio broadcasts during the early 1930s. Published by Leo Feist, one of Tin Pan Alley's most influential music houses, this edition captures the elegant sentimental style that remained popular despite the growing swing era. Isham Jones (1894-1956) ranks among the most significant American dance-band composers of the twentieth century. Interior pages exhibit light to moderate age toning with occasional edge wear and small corner losses that do not affect the printed music.
