Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First Printing. An interesting artifact of Texas politcal history. Signed and inscribed by Ralph W. Yarborough, US Senator from Texas 1957-70: "For My Good Friend, Fagan Dickson: With appreciation for your support, aid and encouragement in many fights for better government in Texas, including the first bitter race for the governorship in 1952 and the last [vile?] attack upon Progressive Democracy in 1964. You were a wise counselor, staunch supporter, [a] leading organizer all over Texas. Ralph W. Yarborough, Austin, March 1966." Minimal shelf wear, minor soiling on fore edge, clean text, tight binding. Jacket has a tiny closed tear on the front flap. Yarborough's inscription is written in ink on the front free endpaper.
