Cloth. Condition: Fair. "A Dictionary of Famous Names in Fiction, Drama, Poetry, History and Art." This book contains 411 pages and 2 illustrations. The pages are heavy and rough on the edges. Some pages have tears, but otherwise appear to be in good condition. Front end page has some writing. Gold lettering on the spine and gilt on the top of the pages. Covers have some spots, and spine is discolored and worn at edges. Covers and spine have edge/corner wear. One spot of damage on a cover edge. Acceptable reference/reading copy.

There is also an illustrated plate on page 177, with tissue paper protector. The binding holds firm. This book is in very good condition.
