Third Edition. 88 pp, photo frontis, the contents and book are solid and tight, however the rear cover has heavy damp stain and wrinkle on lower 2/3, the rear endpapers have stains from this also, front endpapers have owner name and date inked on and lower 1/2" has color fading from same dampness, frontis and pages have only light soil, the dust jacket has overall soil and light wear, the rear inside flap is heavilly stained, this is a very solid reading copy of this book on the Airdale.

Pages are very clean and intact overall except for light age toning and offsetting on front and back pastedowns and toward inner hinges of front and back front and back free endpapers that is likely from the glue adhering the endpapers to the boards. Covers are intact but have slight edge wear and a white pigment to top and bottom edges resembling paint. Dust wrapper is intact overall but has moderate chipping at corners and edges, small marks, a couple water rings to front panel, and a few closed tears, the largest being 2" from the top edge of front panel. A Good book in a Good dust jacket. A concise reference book about fox terriers, including the wire fox terrier and smooth fox terrier. Includes a history of the breed, how to select and buy a fox terrier, how to take care of fox terrier puppies, how to prepare fox terriers for dog shows, and how to treat ailments.
