Hardcover (Original Cloth). Condition: Very Good. No Dust Jacket. First Edition. Limited edition (number 91 of 1000 copies). At front: Letter from the Master; Acknowledgements; List of Contents & 13-page Introduction. Beige end-papers. A Cambridge College like Corpus has three principal aspects. It is firstly a continuing body of men and women devoted to teaching, to learning and to scholarship. It is secondly a constantly changing community of young people, enjoying an experience which is intense but necessarily very brief Last but by no means least it is a place - courtyards, rooms, gardens, hall, chapel, library - within which life is lived and through which the patterns of that life are profoundly shaped. Pierre Gorman's collection, Â'Corpus Christi College: some artistic impressionsÂ', forms but a small part of a major catalogue of prints and illustrative material relating to the college on which he has been working for several years. This small volume is presented to Old Members and to others who know and love Corpus in the hope that it will bring back happy memories, and that it will provide a little additional information about many well-known scenes and places. Limited & Numbered Edition (Copy 91 of 1000). Size: Oblong 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 75 pages. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. Gilt titles front. paperback. Condition: Acceptable. Please see the condition note after this for details, if this is missing please consider Acceptable to mean poor quality that could include major staining, water damage, writing, missing dustjacket, etc etc. Our books are dispatched from a Yorkshire former cotton mill. We list via barcode/ISBN so please note that the images are stock images and may not be the exact copy you receive, furthermore the details about edition and year might not be accurate as many publishers reuse the same ISBN for multiple editions and as we simply scan a barcode or enter an ISBN we do not check the validity of the edition data when listing. If you're looking for an exact edition please don't order (at least not without checking with us first, although we don't always have time to check). We aim to dispatch prompty, the service used will depend on order value and book size. We can ship to most countries, see our shipping policies. Payment is via Abe only.…
