Hardcover. Condition: Good. Reprint. A fold-out panorama of London in the year 1749 from an engraving made by the Buck Brothers in 1749 with contemporary notes by John Wellsman in 1972. This Sidgwick & Jackson edition was sold in America by Dover Publications. Small square quarto, 8 1/3" x 8 1/3", the attached notes pamphlet in 14 pages long. The panorama itself, a drawing of the city printed on one side in black and white as seen from the Thames river, is 10' long by 8" high, folded accordion style and is disattached. This is in good condition over all, with a dampstain on one panel and minor soiling edge wear; there is minor foxing to the endpapers of the folio.

Condition: Good. The books cover is in good condition with small scuffs/a couplr of small tears to the top and bottom of the spine. There is also slight colour fading to the cover and the residue of a small sticker to the back of the cover. The content is in very good condition. The map is intact, there is a very small stain to the bottom right of the map but on the very edge and does not effect the map.
