Contact seller5-star sellerCondition: Fine. ~ Catalog of an exhibition held Feb 17 to Mar 28, 1971 at the Tate Gallery in London. It was Warhol's second one-man exhibition and the first occasion on which his work has been seen on a large scale in Britain. The exhibition was selected and organized by John Coplans for the Pasadena Art Museum, where it was s…hown from May 11 to June 21, 1970. It was subsequently shown at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago (July-August), the Stedelijk Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven (October-November) and the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris (December-January). After it has been seen at the Tate, the final showing was at the Whitney Museum, New York. A small number of works that were shown at Pasadena were not shown in London, and a few substitutions and additions were made. The catalog has been conceived as a survey of Warhol's work (as painter and sculptor) as a whole, enabling the works shown to be related to earlier work, and to concurrent developments in painting, sculpture and film ~ Foreword by Norman Reid ~ The catalogue reproduces 27 works (out of the 123 on display) plus 59 not in exhibition ~ Wrappers, featuring Marilyn Monroe (1964) on the front cover and Liz (1963) on the back. Frontispiece with a self-portrait ~ 100p ~ 21x21x1cm. ~ In Fine condition ~ LANGUAGE: English / Pop Art // We accept PayPal & EU bank transfer in EUROS //.
