The Van Vogt novella had previously been serialized in Astounding in 1946 and then included in a collection edited by Martin Greenberg in 1952, in both cases under the title The Chronicler. The Brunner cover has a…one inch crease at the bottom right corner. There is tape around the spine but the covers are otherwise bright and unmarked. The book has also had a cover over it which has left small tape marks on the first pages of each novel. The pages are a little browned but they are otherwise unmarked. Cover illustration for the Van Vogt novel by Ed Valigursky. First printing. Postage charge will be reduced by £1.50 when the order is processed. Valigursky, Ed (illustrator).
