Cloth. Condition: Poor. This is only Volume 2 of the 3-Volume set (Volumes 1 and 3 are not included). English translation by John Austin Baker of the French original. Ex-library features include: spine label (blacked out); stamps (library name and "DISCARD") on front and back end paper and title page; call numbers (one in marker crossed out, one in pencil) on reverse of title page; damage on inside back cover and end paper from sticker/pocket removal, including remaining fragments and residue. Cloth hardcover is in poor condition, having been repaired with tape along spine at juncture with front and back cover, as well as plastic protectors at the cover corners. Some other streaks, spots, and scratches are visible. Spine has color fading (especially of text) and a scratch mark down the center. Other than the ex-library features already mentioned the pages are clean without any notes or highlighting. Binding is intact for the book block. We are a Benedictine Abbey and Seminary library in Oregon. We appreciate your support.
