There is some note taking only on the introduction for busmen, and a minor line drawn on page 55.This book was part of Nottingham drama texts' efforts to print important plays that were not easily accessible. Busmen is a play by unity theatre's John Allen produced in 1938. It was based on the 1937 London bus strike, and gives a look into the struggles of the working- class drivers. The other play, One Third of a Nation was a 1938 American stage play by Living Newspaper's Arthur Arent. It was a commentary on affordable house derived from President Franklin D. Roosevelt's 1937 inaugural address I see one third of a nation ill-housed, ill-clad, ill-nourished. This play would later become a classic feature film released in 1939.
