Top and bottom spine edges very lightly bumped, no fraying, fading or wear. Binding is tight & square, no cracking. Pages and edges are clean and bright. 240 pgs. with illustrations by John A. Hall. Clean dustjacket has very shallow chipping at top and bottom spine edge, short closed edge tears. Enclosed in new archival quality mylar cover. An adaptation of Bernard Braden's C.B.C. programs of similar title, and was the result of thousands of requests from radio listeners tha these broadcasts be put in permanent form. Mr. Braden visited England in the summer of 1947 where he obtained interviews with people prominent in the political, economic and social reconstruction of England. 5-1/2" x 8". Great Britain.
