Plate of Peter Woodland meant for p. 341 found at p. 473. Light markings. Includes numerous plates, including of prominent members throughout the organization's history. A scarce and attractively designed manual for the Knights of Pythias, a fraternal organization and secret society founded in 1864. It was the first fraternal organization to receive a charter under an act of the United States Congress.
