This is an excellent opportunity to purchase an antique portrait of this eminent personage. Czech religious reformer, convert to Wycliffe's doctrine. Friend of Huss, Jerome hastened to his side when he was arrested but was refused safe-conduct and so returned to Prague. Arrested in Bavaria he was bought back to Constance, recanted but then withdrew his recantation and was burnt at the stake.
