A touch of toning to the leaf margins. A very good copy. Just over…one hundred poems, an extensive collection of the author's four previous collections: 'Soliloquies of a Chalk Giant' (1974), 'Landscape of the Daylight Moon' (1978), 'Solent Shore' (1978) and 'Englishman's Road' (1980). Alan Clodd was a publisher and funder of the Enitharmon Press, under whose imprint Hooker's first book-length collection, 'Soliloquies of a Chalk Giant', was issued. Half a dozen further Hooker collections would eventually be issued under the same imprint. Inscribed by Author(s).

Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. First edition - a paperback original. A presentation copy, inscribed by the author on the half-title: "For Alan Clodd with kind regards Jeremy 31 May 1978". Slim 8vo. 61pp. Card wrappers, quite lightly toned. A very good copy. Thirty-six poems, the author's third major collection of… verse, nicely enhanced by his presentation inscription to publisher and Enitharmon Press founder Alan Clodd, who had published Hooker's first book-length collection of verse, 'Soliloquies of a Chalk Giant' (1974) and would go on to issue half a dozen further Hooker collections.
