Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Over the last decade, oil demand has increased globally and most of the easy exploration targets are exploited. Because of demand and high oil price, companies are now looking for oil in more complex basin. Hence better technology and me…thods needed for exploration. In the recent year, understanding of reservoir is a boom in success. This book, therefore, provides few methods to characterized reservoir properly which give more information in a specific reservoir. Four different methods used in this book are compaction and rock properties evaluation, rock physics analysis, AVO modeling and seismic inversion. Compaction study reveal the time temperature history of reservoir rock whereas rock physics study gives an idea about N/G ratio, seismic properties of reservoir rock, fluid discrimination etc. Moreover, AVO modeling and acoustic impedance inversion are helped to know the real condition of reservoir rocks and fluids. These techniques which used in this book, should help to exploration in exhumed (uplift and erosion) basin, should be useful in reservoir monitoring or anyone who want to know these techniques.
