The 'official organ of the Zippies', where 'ZIPPY is simply a word to describe a '90s kind of WoMan and of consciousness which has already begun to appear in increasing numbers' ('you might already be one'). 'Zippy = '60s Hippy + Technoperson. Zippies work at combining idealism with private enterprise in a new kind of entrepreneurial socialism.' The plan was for one hundred volumes to be published by the year 2000, each covering a separate theme, the whole 'embodying the greatest distillation of human wisdom/potential of all time, the bible not excluded'. Also present are: a short ALS ('James') from Hamilton to the original owner, who has provided a recent note of provenance; 5 items (all double-sided) along similar lines: a flyer for 'Zippy Times' ('the inner pocket guide for flower children with attitude'); 'Megatripolitan' (a 'future perfect newsflash': 'US INVADES UK. Internet War: Zippies launch Assault to defend Democratic Rights of British Citizens and Ravers via Cyberspace'); a handbill from 'evolution' acting as both a temporary membership and an information sheet about drugs; a handbill for 'The Warp!' (24-hour party and play presented by Parallel Youniversity, 1999); and a poster (folded down) for 'The New Human Be-In' ('a 12-hour activation of the San Francisco-London ley line', 2002); and lastly, 'Cuckoo Roots' vol. 2 no. 1, edited by Clark and Hamilton (London, 1981; 4to, stapled wrappers, 48pp. + centre pullout), containing an extract from Clark's novel 'Megatripolis Forever'.
