Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Hardback. 8vo. 2nd ed. 26.5 x 16.5 cms. 60 chromolithograph plates of roses, mostly with hand finishing, all tissue-guarded and some printed on tinted paper, many text wood engravings, contemporary full morocco with gilt lettering and decoration, all edges gilt. Corners very slightly rubbed, sporadic foxing not affecting plates which are bright and clean and finely coloured. Owner's book label on front pastedown and blind stamp on titlepage. (AN14).

In 8 (cm. 27x18,5), pp. (4)-iv-267-(1) doppio frontespizio (uno su carta verde chiaro graziosamente illustrato con una corona di rose in bianco e nero), xilografie nel testo e 60 cromolitografie protette da veline, legatura mezza pelle, al dorso tit. e picc. motivi floreali dorati, tagli in oro. Le 60 belle tavole a colori sono opera di Grobon "d'après nature". Minime usure al dorso e agli angoli della leg., la parte interna in buono stato con qualche fioritura sparsa che non danneggia le tavole. Bella copia.
