Die Untersuchung wurde von vier expliziten Forschungszielen geleitet: Untersuchung des Eindrucks, den Führungskräfte von der beruflichen Entwicklung von Frauen haben; Feststellung, ob die Vereinbarkeit von Beruf und Familie Auswirkungen auf die Berufung von Frauen hat; Unterscheidung von Strategien und Praktiken, die die berufliche Entwicklung von Frauen behindern, und Einschätzung der Elemente, die die berufliche Entwicklung von Vertreterinnen blockieren.
