DLM was created in 1946 by Aim…é Maeght and named by Jacques Kober, then Directeur of Galerie Maeght -inaugurated in October 1945. From 1952 to 1968, two then four pages of "Chroniques de l'Art Vivant" by Georges Limbourg were added. After 1968, "L'Art Vivant" became a separate magazine, not included anymore in DLM. Last publication of DLM was in 1982, numéro 253.
