Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Not a book but a 12-inch, 33-1/3 rpm "long playing high fidelity" (mono) vinyl record album, Atlantic 8081, very-good (but no better) vinyl in a good cardboard jacket with some staining to edges of verso. The lineup of tunes here is similar to that on 1957's Atlantic 8005, "Rock 'N Roll," including Jesse Stone's (as Charles E. Calhoun) "Shake, Rattle & Roll" and "Flip, Flop & Fly"; Jerome Solon Felder's (as Doc Pomus) "Boogie Woogie Country Girl,"; Armenter Chatman's (as Bo Carter) "Corrine Corrina,"; Leiber-Stoller's "Chicken and the Hawk," and Ahmet Ertegun's (as A. Nugetre) "Chains of Love" (though Ertegun reportedly bought "Chains of Love" from original songwriter Doc Pomus for $50.) (This is not the "Chains" recorded by The Beatles. That one was by Carole King & Jerry Goffin, originally for Little Eva's backup group, The Cookies.) Apparently added here are "Cherry Red," "TV Mama," and that old W.C. Handy standby, "St. Louis Blues." Reduced from $15.
