Take a train-ride across Colorado in the first decade of the 20th century via these 24 stunning color lithographs, with descriptive commentary inside both covers by Dr. J. Douglas Crisp. A FIRST EDITION, First Printing, from 1906 (could be 1904 or 1908, date is impossibl…e to decipher!), this hardcover quarto (9.50" x 11.75") is stapled on the left edge, with cream & green wrappers held together with green cord on the same side. Unpaginated. Each page contains a tipped-in vividly colored image of a scene from across the state which a traveler could reach by taking one of the Denver & Rio Grande Company trains, who were the only agents authorized to sell this book. Condition is Good: the lithographs are perfect, but the outer edges of pages & wrappers show short, unclosed tears.
