Pamphlet. [32]p., illustrations, wraps. Ink stamp on front flyleaf: "Review Copy." In dust jacket (minor splitting at head and tail, minor edge wear). Age toned around edges. Very good. Flap claims this to be the "first collection of poetry by the young Negro poet" who counted Caresse Crosby among his patrons. However, it's been claimed that the name was a pseudonym of Judson Crews, here credited as editor. With a prefatory text by Henry Miller.
