The boards are flat and clean and quite firm; the spine ends are slightly worn and the tail corners are frayed. The end papers are quite fayed and marked and the front free end paper has a dedication. The text block is illustrated with 20 black and white drawings by Bartlett and the pages are securely attached to the boards and with a slight horizontal warp.
