The Indians knew this. Soon word spread, and men came in search of riches. One of the lucky ones found six hundred thousand dollars… of gold dust. Others were disappointed. The author details the various trails leading there, individuals of note, and the toll road to Deadwood. Included are photographs, maps, bibliography, and an index. This copy has light shelfwear; otherwise, appears to be unread, clean, and solid.
