Published as the accompanying catalog for a comprehensive exhibition of Alberto Giacometti's work organized by New York's Museum of Modern Art and opening there from June to October 1965 and touring to The Art Institute of Chicago, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and closing at the San Francisco Museum of Art from March to April 1966.
