Not ex. library, front endpaper inscription. 160 pages, illustrated with b/w photographs and drawings. Includes SIGNED Anthony Powell typed letter dated 14th February, 1992. The letter is headed, "The Chantry, Nr. Frome Somerset, BA11 3 LJ. It has references to his friend Henry Green, and his writing. He also mentions a "book of criticism", about to be published in February 1992. There are several crossings out and mis-spellings. This is understandable as he had several strokes in his latter years, and would have been 86 years at the time. Waterstain on jacket and spine. Contents clean, binding tight. Signed by Author(s). Book.
