Fought between the Germans and the British and American Allies. Beginning in October 1944 the two sides both struggled until the Allies eventually overcame the German resistance. Sandwiched between Operation Market Garden and the Battle of the Bulge the action is largely forgotten. Written by two Dutch historians, this was first printed Dutch in 1985, but not translated until 1994. Very good copy of the first US edition in a very good dust jacket protected by mylar. 226 pages.
