Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. The fifth issue of this short lived poetry journal edited by American poets Michael O'Brien and Hunter Ingalls. The Eventorium was an art collective based in Manhattan's Upper West Side which included the likes of Frank Kuenstler and other writers interested in surrealism. This issue notable for… the inclusion of excerpts from the Winslow Poems by Lyn Hejinian - here credited as C.H. Hejinian - possibly the earliest published material of Hejinian's anywhere, predating as it does her first book by 5 years and indeed a 1969 broadsheet of the Winslow Poems from the Bowery Press. With additional contributions from Frank Kuenstler, Russell Edson, Rachel Blau, William Zavatsky, and many others. 7" x 8.5" softcover book, saddle stapled in card wraps, 56pp. Book's page block a bit unflush chiefly for the placement of the staples, with some moderate wear and small tears to front cover's fore-edge. Pages however crisp, unmarked, and solidly bound. From the collection of a tobacco smoker, with attendant tanning to spine and a very faint aroma of smoke within. A very good copy.
