Slevogt was a well known German impressionist painter known for painting in the plein air style Cortez's Conquest of Mexico, translated into German by Mario Spiro.~~One of 250 copies.; tan cloth binding with Slevogt watercolor reproduction on front board; Text written in Fraktur lettering. Small closed tear at bottom of leaf 7,8 with small stain. Light stain at top of spine at rear cover; slipcase has some toning; tears to the edges but is holding well. Very Good binding.
