FIRST EDITION circa 1910, small format 91 x 83 mm, 3½ x 3¼ inches, coloured frontispiece, title page illustrated in green line, text printed green, 28 pages. Bound in original publisher's greyish blue boards, large mounted colour plate with title, mauve and green floral endpapers. 25 mm (1") crack at foot of upper hinge neatly stuck, tiny crack across spine, free endpapers lightly browned, a couple of tiny pale marks to margins, no inscriptions, binding tight firm.     SECOND EDITION circa 1920 (first published by Henry Frowde in 1911), miniature children's book approximately 79 x 68 mm, 3 x 2¾ inches, buff boards, extra colour plate mounted on upper cover, mauve and green floral endpapers, 30 pages. Attractive coloured frontispiece: a fairy addresses 3 small children, line vignette on title. Lower cover and spine very slightly discoloured, untidy inscription on reverse of front endpaper and reverse of frontispiece (no show through, see image), contents clean and bright, one inner joint cracked, binding tight and firm.
