Hardcover. Condition: Good+. Illustrated by A E Kennedy (illustrator). 4to; hardback; illustrated board covers; blue cloth spine; title page appears to have been removed, so book goes straight from colour frontis 'The Polar Bear Family at the theatre' to 'The Bear Family go Yachting'; this book is crammed full of gorgeous illustrations, many of them full colour plates (12) ; 2 of the colour plates look as If they have stuck together at the edge at one point, causing a little damage to the edge in one spot; a child who obviously owned the book in a previous life, had a pack of transfers, and used them liberally on blank pages! ! This includes the back of some plates fortunately the paper is quite thick and they dont seem to show through; all the other pages seem very clean and sound - oh how I wish he has not been given those transfers. The book would have been vg, now only G+; still a book of gorgeous pictures and not too many words plus a small verse; ; 4to 11" - 13" tall.
