Magazine / Periodical First Edition
Paperback. Condition: VG+. No Jacket. First Edition. The first printing of this historical work by Heinlein which occured in three consecutive issues of this magazine. Note that there was no September 1964 issue "because of mechanical difficulties, this issue was shipped late . because of this, we have changed the dating from September to October." ( entry at the bottom of page 52). There is a thin silver sticker on the front cover with the October date, although one can see the original printed September if held to the light. These issues are all VG+ with minimal signs of any exterior wear, other than a bit of fading over time and a bit at spine ends. Insides are unmarked, clear, and firmly bound with only the expected age toning typical of this era. In addition there are 6 novelettes and 7 short stories combined in these issues. July 1964 also marked the beginning of this magazine's move to monthly publication, so these are also the first three of that designation. Exceptional.
