Stuart Lake, The Wonder Lake : Simon Fraser, discoverer in 1808 of the mouth of the mighty Fraser River, established the second fur-trading post in British Columbia. In 1806, in company with John Stuart, he named the Lake & built the post in a region where the Carrier Indians Roved, Fished & Hunted. 4 pages, illustrated. An article printed in 1939.
