The first is Canadian Railways in Pictures, produced by the Canadian engineer and railway historian Robert Legget (1904-1994). This is the second paperback edition, published in 1985. It is a large trade paperback, 96 pages, with several photographs on every page. The second book is Canadian Railway Scenes No. 3, compiled by Adolf & Okan in 1986. It includes vintage scenes of CP and CN trains, photos from the Last Spike Centennial, and the Trans-Canada to an Expo '86 Restored Luxury Train. Also included here are three pieces that were tucked into the larger book: a brochure from O.S. Live Steam Locomotive, and two black and white photos: on the back of one, it says "1/2" scale North Postern (England), Finished July 1940". On the back of the other, it says "View on the Ghost Rim (?) R.R. 1940".
