The play met with great success. Miss Victoria Morton, the sister of the playwright, now presents 'Her Lord and Master' as a novel." The date on the copyright…page has 190_ with the exact year being illegible. The spine strip's cloth has faded. Stains are on about a third of the front board. If there was a pastedown illustration on the front board, it is missing. Other copies show it being the same as the frontispiece. The back board has tiny, light stains along two edges. There are four plates of b/w illustrations. One is at a different page than listed. The front endpaper has an owner's name and two stains left by a label. One page margin has a 1/8 in. hole. The bottom inside corners of all pages of chapter 9 and five pages of chapter ten each have a brown stain, up to 3/8 in. Scans e-mailed upon request.
