This is volume 2, on the geology and paleontology, of a t…hree-volume set on the exploration and natural history of the Russian Arctic. The geologists in charge of the expedition are O. T. Gronlie and Olaf Holtedahl. This volume presents Parts 21-45 that covers all aspects of the geology and invertebrate paleontology (including trilobites, brachiopods and cephalopods) as well as the Paleozoic stratigraphy. These parts were published between 1924 and 1930. This volume is from the private research collection of University of Iowa paleontologist A. K. Miller with his pencil signature on the title page and his name in gilt at the bottom of the spine. No other ownership marks. The spine cloth is lightly sunned; a tight and clean copy in very good condition.
