A blueback chart of the North Sea; the coast of Holland and North Germany. Three inset maps. Blue manila backing, publisher's printed label on the outside at lower left. Old stains and a few tears at the lower left, edge a bit ragged at lower left, some chipping to label; in general condition is clean and very good. Hand-numbered on the label: "77". Small ink rubber stamp in German at the title. Some locations highlighted in pen. This chart was issued with a book of sailing instructions (not present here). A large chart, 201cm x 10cm, rolled. The Finnish Maritime Museum describes two copies, dated 1875 and 1889. The Museu Marítim de Barcelona records a copy dated 1880.
