Bloemfontein, Nasionale Museum, 1929-1951. 4to (28.0 x 22.0 cm). 351 pp.; numerous illustrations. Original printed wrappers. = The complete first Deel (Part), consisting of ten "Stuks", or Issues. All papers are on ammonites, except the first, which is on Trigoniidae. The Dutch-born South African palaeontologist Egbert Cornelis Nicolaas van Hoepen (1884-1966) was in fact the editor and sole author. Parallel to this "part" ran Deel 2 (Part 2), on fossil mammals. It is not included. Uncut. A few with a small former owner's stamp, "Brongersma" (most probably the Dutch herpetologist and professor of systematic biology Leo Daniel Brongersma [1907-1994]) on front wrappers, otherwise very good, clean.
