A history of the Los Angeles Harbor Area and of San Pedro, California, published by the MGM students of Richard Henry Dana Junior High School [Published Date: no date listed, circa 1975-6]. Published as a "contribution to the celebration of the bi-centennial". Edited by Charles Gillingham, who w…ould later go on to become a keyboardist and multi-instrumentalist best known for his performances with the band Counting Crows. Paper covers, [88] pp (unpaginated). Black and white photograph reproductions and illustrations throughout. In acceptable condition. Pictorial paper covers have a 2" slit along the bottom of the fold of the spine running up to the first staple and a few other smaller nicks and tears and creasing to edges. Moderate overall scuffing, aging and soiling to covers as well. Pages are starting to separate from staple binding but are still attached and all pages are present. Pages are lightly aged but otherwise unmarked with occasional light spotting and soiling. NOT Ex-Library. Includes a few black and white photos of Gillingham as well as a single page of sheet music entitled "San Pedro" written by John Maellaro and Gillingham which was first performed by the group â??Slipstream.â? Includes a black and white photo of the group as well.
