L'object de l'étude est de déterminer l'effet de l'extrait méthanolique des feuilles de Rosmari…nus officinalis (Ro), et/ou de Sélénium sur la toxicité du chlorure de nickel chez les rats Albinos. Au début, l'investigation phytochimique permettant la mise en évidence de la teneur en flavonoïdes, en polyphénols et chélatrice des métaux l'activité antioxydante de l'extrait de la plante. L'analyse de l'extrait a montré une richesse en polyphénols et en flavonoïdes avec des valeurs de 27.66±0.04 mg EAG/g, 8.47±0.05 mg/QE/g. Respectivement, une activité antioxydante DPPH de l'ordre de 24.49±0.31 (µg/ml), ABTS 22.34±0.94 (µg/ml), CUPRAC 15.08±0.85 (µg/ml) et l'activité chélatrice de métal 63.56±0.97 (µg/ml).
