Good. 8vo., 520 pp. Bound in publishers yellow cloth with titles and scene in red ink and yellow illustrated dust jacket. Jacket is chipped and missing 1/2 inch of top of spine. Interior is foxed on end papers, text edges are soiled and spotted. Dust jacket is now protected in mylar sleeve. Addison Hibbard (1887-1945) was an English professor, 1918-1930, and dean, 1926-1930, at the University of North Carolina. Hibbard was the son of Daniel O. and Ida Brightman Hibbard. He was born in Racine, Wis., and received his B.A. and M.A. - UNC.
