Condition: Fine. Philadelphia 1903 first edition. Holman. Sm4to hardcover. Red cloth with gilt lettering and gilt picture of 4-legged animal on front cover. 808p. nearly 200 monochome photo illus and all four foldout maps present in rear pocket and in Fine condition Front cover pocket includes the original publisher information and promotion. Top edge gilt. VG, exlibrary with spine numbers removed but area where numbers were is still faintly visible . Bookplate inside front cover (properly deaccessioned.) Binding secure; no hinges cracked in or out. Text clean with no foxing or stainug.
